This Privacy Policy describes how our Quran Yaser handles your information. Our App is designed to be completely free, contains no ads, and requires no in-app purchases.

1. Core Functionality & Offline Access

The primary purpose of the App is Quran reading. This core feature functions entirely offline and does not require an internet connection.

2. Data Collection & Usage

We do not collect or store any personal identification data. However, the App may request access to the following:

• Location Data: Used strictly to calculate accurate prayer times. This is optional and only active if you choose to use the prayer times feature.
• Storage: The app uses approximately 10MB of storage for saved bookmarks and settings (e.g., dark mode, auto-scroll preferences).

3. Third-Party API Services

To provide city names and timezones for prayer times, the App may connect to the following services (only two are active at a time):

• TimezoneDB / Google Maps Timezone API / GeoNames (for Timezones)
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim / Open-Meteo (for City Names)

No data is shared with these services for marketing or tracking purposes. They are used solely for functional geocoding.

4. No Third-Party Tracking

We do not use any analytics tools, metrics trackers, or third-party SDKs that monitor your behavior or send data to developers.

5. Policy Updates

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
